Dear Fellow Quilters and Quilt Lovers:

Our support group, The Friends of The Quilters Hall of Fame/Marie Webster Quilt Guild of Marion, Indiana has once again donated an Opportunity Quilt to The Quilters Hall of Fame. The enclosed picture does not fully capture the real beauty of the quilt, whose pattern, “Tennessee Waltz”, was acquired from a book by Quilt in a Day’s Sue Bouchard. This beautiful 83” x 102”, blue and yellow quilt was pieced by “Friends” guild member, Carolyn Goebel, and machine quilted by DeLoa Jones.

Proceeds obtained from the Opportunity Quilt will be used for ongoing maintenance and preservation of the Marie Webster House, a designated National Historic Landmark and home of The Quilters Hall of Fame, which we hope to preserve in perpetuity with your help for generations of quilters to enjoy.

Please fill out, cut and return your donation and tickets in the enclosed envelope. Six tickets are available for $5.00 or a full sheet of 12 tickets for $10.00. Consequently, single tickets, up to 4 in number, would be $1.00 each. Deadline for mail-in tickets is July 14, 2007. The drawing will be held on July 22 in Marion, Indiana, during the Quilters Hall of Fame 2007 induction of our 37th Honoree, quiltmaker and researcher, Mary Schafer of Flushing, Michigan. The winner need not be present. Feel free to photocopy the ticket form as needed.

Thank you for your support. Truly, every dollar counts!

Sincerely,

Karen B. Alexander, President

The Quilters Hall of Fame
